Mission
The goal of the Ruben Brown Foundation is to raise funds and support for youth and development programs in our communities. The Foundation focuses on programs that are similar to those that were available to Ruben as young child. Examples include: camps, mentoring programs, scholarships, and 'in time of need' services that collect food and clothing as well as provide shelter to those less fortunate.
History Of The Run
In 2001, the Ruben Brown Motorcycle Run was created as the premiere fundraising event to support the Ruben Brown Foundation. The Foundation provides financial assistance in the form of grants to 501c3 organizations in each event city that display a commitment to the enhancement of young people and the community at large.
Over the past nine years the Ruben Brown Motorcycle Run has raised over $500,000. Beneficiaries have included: The Salvation Army of Buffalo, Buffalo Prep Academy, Seneca Nation Diabetes Foundation, The Salvation Army of Metropolitan Chicago as well as local youth league programs.
